Download services are used by an enormous amount of people, but all for different reasons. You can download a number of things such as music, videos, picrtures, documents etc. Here are a few examples of advantages and disadvantages of downloading.

Advantages:

  It is cheaper than buying the real thing.

  it is alot quicker to download, than to go out and buy what you would like, also it saves hassles doing it all on the computer.

  You can choose the exact thing you want rather than having to look around and searching for a specific thing.


• 
  
  It is also easier to find your ay around sites, than looking places and going to shops.

Disadvantages

• Virus can be recieved from dowloading things
• They can download stuff of you
• Downloads can be traced
• Hackers can hack in to your account and computer and things
• Filed under false name, asin they wont have the desired name and will have to search harder
• Often Illegal sites, which can get you into trouble

All in all I believe that downloading software, songs and programs from the Internet is very good, but I also believe that the Internet downloading can be improved in many ways. For Example being able to see the original source of the program and that it is possible to be 100% sure that a file does not contain a virus before you download it. Also you should be able to check the file for viruses before downloading comenses so that you know what you are going to be recieving.
